Parents, if you’ve ever looked in on your child’s dance class and wanted to jump in, now is your chance! Get moving to the beat, and challenge the coordination of your feet, while we do an active warm-up, learn a short duet routine, and finish with some fun hula hoop skills and games. This class is designed for one parent and one child (ages 5 – 9), but trios are welcome, too. Lead by Ms. KT.
Anatomy of the Port de Bras (Ages 7- Adult)
Saturday, April 28th from 1:30 – 2:30 PM
Shaping the arm, with lifted elbows and relaxed shoulders is no small feat for the ballerina. Take a deeper look into the Port de Bras, learning about the muscles and bones that make fundamental positions, and create inspired expressions. The first part of the class is seated, to help focus in on and explore how the arm works. The second half of class, we’ll be taking our new arms skills and incorporating them with dancing on our feet! Ballet experience is recommended, but not required. For ages 7 to adult. Lead by Ms. KT.
